Peru 75% Dark Chocolate Craft Bar

75% single-origin dark chocolate bar crafted from cacao sourced from Ucayali River Cacao. The chocolate produced from this cacao has flavor notes of coffee and nuts.

Working with about 400 smallholder farmers along the Ucayali River outside of the Peruvian city of Pucallpa, Ucayali River Cacao buys wet cacao at a premium price. The region has historically been afflicted with unrest from narco-trafficking and militant groups. Ucayali River Cacao has partnered with USAID and Alianza Peru to give local farmers access to an alternate market to narcotics.
