Shipping & Care


Shipping chocolates to arrive in perfect condition can be challenging but don’t worry, we have been doing it successfully for a long time. Please familiarize yourself with our shipping rates and policies before you order. Changes to orders such as address updates may not be able to be made if an order has already been printed for shipping, which would typically occur on or just before the morning it is scheduled to ship out. This is especially true during peak shipping seasons around the Holidays.

Shipping Methods and Fees

  • Ground* - 1 to 5 Business Days $10.95
  • 2 Day* - 2 Business Days $19.95
  • Overnight - Next Business Day $38.95
  • Saturday Delivery - Available for an additional fee (location depending) with 2 Day or Overnight shipping (Please call 816-842-1300 if you would like to place an order for Saturday delivery.)

∗∗ Shipping rates are flat costs per package based on chosen and/or available shipping methods. If you are shipping to more than one recipient, then additional shipping charges will apply for each shipment. AK and HI shipments incur separate shipping fees.

∗∗∗ Delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect delivery timelines, ship dates, and arrival dates. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather, incorrect address provided to us or other circumstances beyond our control. We can not ship to P.O. or APO boxes.

∗∗∗∗ Ground Shipping has no guaranteed delivery date. Although we allow you to select the desired delivery date upon checkout, if you choose Ground shipping, please be aware that your package may not arrive on the day you have chosen.


We try hard to get orders out as soon as the next business day but occasionally during peak holiday seasons, it might take over 24 hours to get your order shipped. If you place your order by overnight or 2nd day air, those take priority over ground shipments, and we will process those first. If you need your order by a certain date, then please call 816-842-1300, and we will help you with your order.


Our shipments are shipped early in the week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays) in order to avoid having the chocolates sit over the weekend in an unconditioned warehouse. If you are shipping a package to a warm-weather destination over a weekend, your package will be held until the following Monday to ensure minimal time in transit. If the weather permits, we may ship to arrive on a Monday by special request.


We take great measures to ensure that our chocolate is delivered fresh and in perfect condition. To reduce the risk of melted chocolate in transit to warmer climates (65 degrees and higher), we use insulated packaging and gel packs to protect the chocolates. It can get very hot in the back of a delivery truck! Our boxes consist of corrugated cardboard and our thickest temperature-control insulation is composed of mineral fiber and plastic that is either recyclable (depending on local facilities) or biodegradable. We strive to use as many recyclable materials in our packaging as possible.


FEDEX is our preferred shipping vendor. All of our shipping vendors only deliver on business days, unless Saturday delivery is specified (where available, additional charges apply). Our shipping vendors may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver. Deliveries to businesses typically occur between 8 AM and 5 PM and deliveries to residences can typically occur between 9 AM and 7 PM.


At the current time, we are unable to ship to international destinations.


Track your order here with your FEDEX tracking number(s). All orders leave our Kansas City facility within 24 hours of processing, subject to inventory availability. In order to ensure the best possible product, orders cannot ship over the weekend most of the time. Thus, standard shipment packages may be held until the following Monday to ensure minimal time in transit.
